ANOTHER SIDE OF DARYL
This page has nothing to do with Stress, Counselling or Hypnosis but... I involve myself in other interesting undertakings to help balance my life. My initial training was as an actor, graduating from Australia's National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in the mid 1960's. In recent years I have had a renewed interest in performing (after an absence of almost thirty years) and have been involved in a few interesting projects.

Enjoying Alex Lloyd singing "Green" in his music video "Hypnosis Footnote" to the making of this music video. The "story" in the video was set in a night school classroom where the would-be song writers were being asked to sing the songs they had written. Alex played his song and we, the class, listened with varying degrees of appreciation. One of my fellow actors was required to shed a tear in close up. The film crew spent almost an hour trying to get the shot. They resorted to using sprays, drops and onions as the actor, try as she would, could not cry on cue but, none of these old tricks worked either! I then volunteered to use my hypnotic skills, and within a few minutes the tears were flowing, the shot was "in the can" and everybody was amazed at the power of hypnosis.
